Refund policy

At Ira Banaras, we understand that our customers seek unique, high-quality handcrafted products. Every piece is carefully woven by skilled artisans, and we request that it be handled with the same care. Due to the exclusive handcrafted nature of our products, cancellations, returns, and exchanges are accepted only under specific circumstances.

Returns

We accept returns only in the following cases:

  • Manufacturing defect

  • Incorrect item delivered

Please Note: Slight variations in color, texture, weave, or design are natural due to handcrafted weaving, photography, lighting, and screen resolution. These variations are not considered defects and are not eligible for return.

To initiate a return, please email your request to irabanaras@gmail.com within 48 hours of receiving your order. Requests received after 48 hours of delivery will not be accepted.

If your parcel appears damaged or tampered with upon delivery, please do not accept it. Contact us immediately at irabanaras@gmail.com or call +91 96956 64207.

In case of damage, please share clear photographs of both the outer packaging and the product via email. Once your request has been reviewed, you will receive return authorization within 5 business days.

After approval, kindly return the item within 5 days to the address below, along with the original packaging, invoice, and product tags.

Refund Processing: Refunds will be processed within 7 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned product. Refunds can be issued either as store credit or to your original payment method. Any applicable bank or payment gateway charges may be deducted. Bank processing timelines may vary and are beyond our control.

Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled only before dispatch, provided no customization services such as Fall & Pico or Tassel Attachment have been requested.

Upon cancellation, you will receive store credit equal to the order value, which can be used for future purchases. If you prefer a refund to your original payment method, applicable payment gateway or bank charges will be deducted before processing.

Please Note: Only unstitched products such as sarees, stoles, and dupattas are eligible for cancellation. Apparel, stitched garments, and fabrics are not eligible.

Exchanges

Exchanges are available only for products that are:

  • Unstitched

  • Not customized with Fall & Pico or tassels

  • In their original, unused, and unopened condition

The following items are not eligible for exchange:

  • Apparel or stitched garments

  • Fabrics cut from larger yardage

  • Products that have been opened, unfolded, or tried on

For international exchanges, all customs duties, import taxes, and both forward and return shipping charges must be borne by the customer.
